Der beliebte Mountainbikeführer für die Fränkische Schweiz jetzt als App für Android Smartphones. Den Biker erwarten 66 MTB-Touren und Fahrspaß auf 39100 Höhenmeter über 1500km. Für den Anfänger bis zum Crack ist alles geboten. Von fantastischen Singletrails, einsamen Waldwegen, vorbei an wildromantischen Bächen, Burgen, Höhlen, Mühlen und - nicht zu vergessen - Brauereien, die zur Einkehr einladen.
Zwischen Nürnberg im Südwesten und Bayreuth im Nordosten liegt dieses felsige Mittelgebirge, das nicht nur bei Kletterern und Kanufahrern sehr beliebt ist. Obwohl die höchsten Berge kaum 600m überschreiten kommt der Mountainbiker hier voll auf seine Kosten. Hier findet der Fahrer schmale, manchmal auch felsige Trails in schattigen Wäldern, die einfach Spaß machen! Und dabei ist man als Biker noch weitgehend alleine unterwegs.
Die App bietet 66 Touren mit Wegbeschreibungen, Höhenprofilen, Kartendaten und aktuellen Wetterinformationen. Die Touren lassen sich nach Startplatz, Anspruch oder Erlebniswert sortieren und filtern. Nicht zuletzt kann man sich einfach zum Startplatz oder einer Einkehrmöglichkeit navigieren lassen. Die Touren sind übersichtlich dargestellt, anhand der Farbe ist deren Schwierigkeit leicht zu erkennen. Alle Tourenbeschreibungen und GPS-Daten lassen sich aus der App heraus per Mail senden und stehen somit zum Ausdrucken oder Übertragen auf ein GPS-Gerät zur Verfügung.
